Passion. Experience. Diligence.

About Me

With nearly twenty years of professional experience in institutional research, assessment, and higher education administration, I have developed extensive expertise in data analysis, institutional effectiveness, and building sustainable Institutional Research operations. My work focuses on helping colleges and universities strengthen their data capacity and use evidence to support strategic planning, accreditation, and student success initiatives.

I have worked at seven public and private colleges and universities accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education and the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. Across these institutions, I have led major data reporting initiatives, designed institutional surveys, conducted statistical analysis using SPSS, Qualtrics, and other tools, and presented findings to senior leadership, faculty, and campus stakeholders.

I currently serve as Director of Institutional Research at Delaware County Community College, where I lead institutional reporting, analytics, and data initiatives that support enrollment management, student success, accreditation, and strategic planning. My work emphasizes practical and accessible data solutions that help faculty and administrators make informed decisions.

I recently earned a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership from Virginia Commonwealth University, where I was also honored with the Outstanding Capstone Award. My doctoral research focused on improving student retention through data-informed advising practices, institutional collaboration, and stakeholder engagement.

Throughout my career, I have supported institutions in strengthening accreditation and institutional effectiveness processes. At Kean University and Saint Joseph’s University, I contributed to successful accreditation monitoring reports and institutional improvements. At Cambridge College, I implemented the first online course evaluation system serving more than 1,400 faculty members and achieved an 89% response rate within one semester.

At Saint Joseph’s University (2015–2019), I served as Assistant Provost for Institutional Effectiveness and Research and chaired the Institutional Effectiveness Committee. I led the development of a comprehensive institutional effectiveness framework that integrated student learning assessment, program review, planning, and resource allocation. I worked with campus leaders to establish clear processes, templates, and training programs that supported more than 200 academic and administrative annual reports each year. These efforts strengthened the institution’s ability to link assessment results with planning and decision making.

In addition to my institutional leadership experience, I have worked as an independent consultant supporting colleges and universities in developing Institutional Research offices, hiring and training IR staff, and building effective data systems. My consulting work emphasizes practical solutions and hands-on mentoring that help institutions build long-term internal capacity. Clients have consistently provided strong feedback and have frequently requested follow-up engagements.

I have presented at national and regional conferences including the Association for Institutional Research (AIR) Forum, the Middle States Commission on Higher Education Annual Conference, the Indianapolis Assessment Institute, and the Drexel Assessment Conference. I will present two sessions at the AIR Forum 2026 in Washington, DC, focusing on stakeholder engagement and advising analytics to support student success.

As an independent consultant, I help institutions navigate the challenges of a rapidly changing higher education environment. Whether strengthening Institutional Research operations, improving data reporting, or preparing for accreditation, my goal is to provide practical and effective solutions that support institutional success.
